Clearview "Sight Glass Housing"                                                       

The ClearView single cartridge housing is unique with its special clear bowl section for viewing the condition of the filter element.

Designed specifically for use in the Fine Chemicals and Pharmaceutical industries, the ClearView has proved to be highly successful where fluid cleanliness requires visual monitoring online. Materials of construction are either 316L or Hastelloy C22 for all metallic parts, whilst the unique clear screen utilises a Borosilicate tube for maximum fluid compatibility. Seal materials are offered in EPDM, Viton, Silicone and encapsulated FEP.

When used in conjunction with the Amazon ceramic solids retaining screen, it proves to be the optimum choice for users of catalyst reaction vessels and powder filters where any breakthrough can be clearly seen on the retaining screen. Replacing more conventional glass bodied assemblies (which can be notoriously difficult to work with) the ClearView, with it’s easy to use cast Vee clamp closure, has proved highly successful with operators and engineers alike.

The ClearView will accept the full range of Amazon and industry standard cartridges ranging from 0.1 to 500µm with nominal lengths of 10, 20 and 30”.

76 Series Hygenic Plenum Style Fillter Housing

The 76 Series single cartridge housing is a high quality product specifically designed for critical applications. It is manufactured to provide a 0.4 µm RA crevice free sanitary finish on all internal surfaces. The hygienic design ensures the housing is easy to clean and can be sanitised or steam sterilised readily.

The base of the housing provides a plenum chamber to offer lower pressure drops in high flow applications and a sump for collection of excess liquid/condensate where necessary.

 76 Series housings are suitable for the filtration of both liquids and gases and will accept the full range of Amazon and industry standard code 7 (226) style single open-ended cartridges with nominal lengths of 10, 20 and 30”.

Special Custom Designs                                                       

We can modify most of our existing housings with a range of additions including heating jackets, adjustable legs, and all common connection styles (flanged, screwed, dairy) set in the orientation to suit the process. We also have the design and build resources to provide customer specific systems, including fully functional trolleys and skids fitted with pumps and valving.

In addition to carbon and stainless steels we are able to manufacture housings using a wide range of alloys including Hastelloy C22, Duplex (S31803) and Super Duplex (S32760/50), enabling housings to be used even in the most aggressive of process environments. We can also supply coated housings using rubber, 3M Scotchkote, vinyl ester or glass flake and provide housings manufactured from PTFE. Other more exotic materials and coatings are available on request.

Larger housings are available in various design styles for higher flow rates. Our capabilities mean we can offer housings suitable for at least 300 stacks of standard cartridges and 30 stacks of large diameter HFC cartridges. The 53 Series single cartridge housing is ideal for use in sensitive gas, steam and pulsating pressure environments. With the ability to accept both standard Double Open End and Single Open End cartridges, this single stack housing uses a DIN threaded closure that has proved successful in a wide variety of applications such as aerosol filling lines and nitrogen purge systems for beverage and pharmaceutical applications.
