Material Costs:
T Tubes material costs are higher but benefits are:
Only insulation in the world approved to FM 4910 for cleanroom material
Low profile - Space saving - no additional jacketing required
Hydrophobic / Ease of cleaning - wipeable with all cleaning agents
Fire safety - approved to FM4924
Particulate free & dust free closed cell material
Mould growth resistance
No jacketing required
Low toxicity - lowest flame & smoke rating available
Useable on steam & chill pipes
Cuttable in clean rooms
Durable, impact and moisture resistant skin
Excellent chemical & UV resistance
Excellent for personnel protection
Easily applied / removed with its PSA and clamshell design
No condensation for tight angles etc unlike industry norms using metal cladding
Lower thermal conductivity - Lower Energy costs
Installation Costs:
T Tubes installation costs are 1/3rd that of competing products
T Tubes comes in a variety of shapes making it easy & quick to install - straights, tees, elbows etc
T Tubes comes with moulded valve / filter housing / heat exchanger covers
T Tubes is installed in a single step - no need for lagging followed by cladding & making of metal
T Tubes is wrapped around pipe and secured with adhesive tape - No Metal cutting
Maintenance Costs:
T Tubes maintenance costs are 1/4 that of competing products
T Tubes can be removed by simply cutting the tape and re-installed by applying new tape
Access to valves is easy with T Tubes - competing products need to rip out a metal box and re-make
